Partnering with Riverflow Recruitment
Over the next year, I walked beside him, not just as a practitioner, but as a mentor, a coach, and a firm believer in his potential. This was not a patronising gesture; rather, it was a recognition that the executive function challenges he faced were far less significant than the strengths he had already demonstrated as a successful entrepreneur, a two-time jiu-jitsu gold medallist, and a top-performing sales professional.
Together, we built his LinkedIn profile, proudly listed Dyslexic Thinking as a skill, refined his CV, practised interviews, and submitted countless job applications. When the first opportunity arose – a sales role in Vietnam – I encouraged him to pursue it.
Within just two months, he was thriving in his new job, quickly rising to the top sales position out of 35 representatives. Not long after, he decided to follow a lifelong dream, and he soon completed both his Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer qualifications, all while launching a new business. With his confidence and stability restored, he’ll soon be ready to continue his treatment journey.
That experience was deeply meaningful to me. It led to a lasting friendship with my patient and his family, and reinforced a simple yet important truth: with the right support and environment, people’s potential can truly flourish.
From this belief grew the partnership with Riverflow Recruitment: a shared commitment to empowering neurodivergent adults to embrace their strengths, rewrite their stories, and thrive both professionally and personally.
